Lady Washington returns in June for Rusty Scuppers Pirate Daze June 28 to 30, 2019

Lady Washington the official tall ship of Washington State and her companion vessel the Hawaiian Chieftain, will visit the Port of Westport and offer exciting family oriented sails and vessel tours at the dock. Vessel tours open the ships to the public for a suggested donation of $5 per person. Come check out the ship and meet her crew!

Sailing guests will embark on sailing experiences as it was done for hundreds of years. Join in a sea shanty, enjoy breathtaking views, and meet the modern day crew that travels the west coast. Battle sails feature fast-paced maneuvering and live black powder cannon fire as the ships vie to win the battle.

A ticket is required for all passengers, including babies. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments are not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own (no glass please). Passage: Come moonlight as a tall ship sailor on a Passage! Passages offer a one-way trip from one port to another, where you can experience life at sea, and even stand watch. Your experience will vary depending on weather, coastal conditions, and time of year.  Sunny cruising or pouring rain and big waves are equally possible, so only travelers accustomed to “roughing it” should participate. Meals and bunk are included; guests must bring their own bedding or sleeping bag. Age restrictions apply.
