Lady Washington, the official tall ship of the State of Washington, will visit Monterey on November 8-November 26 and take part in a special re-enactment of the Bouchard’s attack on Monterey. This re-enactment will include a cannon duel with the Presidio, a beach landing of privateers, a lowering of the Spanish and raising of the Argentine flag, with dramatic presentations by actors portraying the principle characters, City official will also make presentations.

Upcoming 2019 Schedule

The Hawaiian Chieftain will visit Monterey and offer family-oriented Sails featuring a living history experience with demonstrations of tall ship handling, sea shanty singing, and maritime amusements. A ticket is required for all passengers, including babes in arms. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Lady Washington the official tall ship of Washington State will join the Hawaiian Chieftain on March 8. You can join their epic Battle Sails, purchase your tickets now. Battle sails feature fast-paced maneuvering and live black powder cannon fire as the ships vie to win the battle.
