Walk-on tours allow visitors to meet with the crews and learn more about Lady Washington’s history as a replica of one of the first U.S.-flagged ships to visit the west coast of North America. Reservations are not required, though a $5 donation per person is requested. Adventure Sails are two-hour family-oriented experiences with an opportunity to help the crew raise a sail, learn a sea shanty, and take the helm of a real tall ship, conditions permitting. Battle sails are three-hour sailing experiences in which the captains and crews of the Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain strive to outmaneuver each other while shooting black powder-packed guns (cannons aboard a ship).

The boats will be docking at Sub Sea Tours (699 Embarcadero #9, Morro Bay, CA 93442). For directions, please call (805)772-9463.
